Information about our Altar Server Program…
--All new servers must have received First Communion --We have 43 Altar Servers assigned to 15 Teams, with 3-4 members per Team --Brothers and sisters are always assigned to the same team --Teams have a mix of experienced and inexperienced servers --We try to create teams of boys and girls --Team Captains lead and help train new servers --Server teams serve 2 times in a typical 4-week month
--Servers & family members who are Lectors/Eucharistic Ministers are scheduled for the same Mass
--Mass assignments are usually random other than the Sunday 7:30am and 5pm Masses --When necessary, substitution is possible --Deacon Jerry Lambert is our Altar Server Coordinator --Generally, 2 training session are required
