The Dorothy Day mission to feed the homeless and under-served has expanded to include residents in a Pacific House managed homeless shelter in Danbury. This will require St. Mary's to double the amount of food we prepare each month. We are seeking additional volunteers to prepare trays of food and salads once a month. Please note, food is prepared at your own home and delivered to Meg Reilly in Ridgefield who will deliver to Dorothy Day. This is a great opportunity for youth groups. Please email mbreilly28@gmail.com if you are interested. Thank you

Dear Parents, You and your families have had to adapt in many ways due to the pandemic. And from my perspective it has been edifying. The religious formation of your children will no less have to be adapted in this time of restrictions and limitations. An exploratory committee of a spectrum of parishioners has been working long and hard at putting together a COVID-19 year program that will keep your children connected to the beauty of the Lord, our Faith, and St. Mary’s Parish. It is our hope that it will also bring your family closer together in faith.
No one expected we'd be looking for home-bound activity ideas in March, yet here's where we find ourselves. Check out this fun list of "How to Keep Your Sanity When You're Homebound." It looks like we may even get the snow needed for item #5! Consider printing out this list and sticking it on your fridge and when you're sensing a meltdown moment approaching, use it to redirect to some fun!
