Kids 4 Jesus Kids Club is a dynamic, fun and formative program for boys and girls in grades K-5th to learn about their faith, make new friends and grow in their leadership skills.
Friday nights from 6:00PM to 7:30 in the Nancy Bossidy Recreation Center (St Mary Gym). As always, you are free to stay or drop your child off.
We will send a recap of the meeting so that you know what we spoke about and what commitment or mission we have given your kids for the next meeting.
Material:
Each child will have the following:
Prayer Book & Color Books - Use this prayer book for daily prayers and to follow the saints that we will be talking about each semester. It is important that the children keep track of their prayer book and bing it to every meeting. This will be part of their commitment each meeting! The prayer books cost $5 so if you misplace it, you can purchase another one for $5 (just let us know so we can order them)
Commitment Card - As we address Forgiveness each week (With God, Home, School etc) we will challenge the kids to make a commitment to put the virtue into practice. They will each have a commitment card where they will keep track of their commitment and they need to bring this to each meeting as well.
Teams and Points:
Kids love being part of a team and striving to help their team win. We will divide the kids up into teams by gender. We will have 2 to 3 teams of girls and 2 - 3 teams of boys. Throughout the semester they will be able to gain points for their teams by:
Fulfilling their commitment/Mission of the week
Bringing their Prayer Book & Commitment Card to the meeting
Winning games as a team on meeting nights
Answering catechism and questions about the saint we are learning about
Good behavior during the meetings
There will be prizes at the end of the semester for the teams with the most points!

Each meeting will have the following components:
Big group games
