In 2015 Rachel Ambrosio joined Saint Mary Parish shortly after her oldest son began attending school at SMS.  Previously at Sacred Heart Parish in Georgetown, Rachel and her husband, Kevin, felt it was important to be a part of the parish where their children went to school.  Rachel was so happy with the experience that her children had at Saint Mary School that she made the decision to pursue an advanced certificate in Educational Leadership, completing her internship under Anna O’Rourke.  Knowing that she wanted to lead a Catholic school, Rachel’s first position as a school leader was at St. Catherine of Siena School in Trumbull.  Rachel was thrilled to return to SMS as principal after Anna retired.  Rachel is excited to be starting her second year as principal and feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.
