Jennifer is grateful for the opportunity to serve the St. Mary Parish community as Director of Religious Education in the Office for Youth and Families. In this role, she oversees programs from early childhood through Confirmation, including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, GiFT, EDGE, and sacramental preparation. Her mission is to help families encounter Christ in meaningful ways, to shape catechesis around the baptismal dignity and belonging of every child, and to strengthen parish life as a place where faith is lived with joy and holiness.
Jennifer has spent nearly twenty years supporting children and families in various roles. She began in 2007 as a Special Education Teacher and Coordinator in New York City and later served as Preschool Director in Ridgefield. These experiences, together with her passion for inclusive catechesis and her desire to keep learning and growing in the field of faith formation, have brought her to serve at St. Mary Parish. She is honored to bring her background in education and nonprofit administration into the service of the Church.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics and a Master of Science in Special Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary, a path that deepens her own faith and supports her work of helping families grow in their love for Christ and His Church. Her long-term goal is to ensure that every child’s place in the Church is visible and celebrated, and that every family feels supported in living the faith at home and in the parish community.
Jennifer and her husband, Nick, have been parishioners of St. Mary Parish since 2021. Together with their three children, they are grateful for the faith, friendships, and community they have found in Ridgefield and in their parish home.
