Ken Kroog was appointed to the Parish Pastoral Council in 2023. He and his wife, Christina, joined St. Mary’s Parish in 2020 when they moved to the area with their four small children. He is a member of the St. Mary’s Men’s Ministry, the Knights of Columbus, and the Father Shealy Retreat Guild of the Loyola Jesuit Center. His earlier formative experiences include a St. Oscar Romero pilgrimage to El Salvador and a Jesuit volunteer corps trip to post-Katrina Mississippi. Professionally, Ken is a director at New York State’s largest educational service agency, where he supervises eleven schools for students with disabilities. He earned his Doctorate degree in educational leadership and policy from Fordham University and a Masters degree in developmental psychology from Boston College. He frequently presents his research at leadership conferences across the country.
