Thank you to all who donated to help the Angelitos de Dios School. We raised almost $30,000 to benefit the school and have already sent $11,000 to help with basic expenses. In April, eight Parishioners will be visiting the school in Santa Maria de Jesus, Guatemala, and will bring 25 Chromebooks, 4 projectors, and many children's picture books to use in the classrooms, bought with your donations (Approximately $3,500). Teachers and translators will provide professional development to the teachers and demonstrate methods of teaching reading and writing through children's literature and the use of Chromebooks in classroom instruction. The rest of the funds will help pay the teachers and meet basic needs of the school, including internet, electricity, etc. Your generosity will provide excellent educational opportunities to the students of Colegio Angelitos De Dios.
